Bluesman Benny Harp likes to say he didn't find the harmonica, the harmonica found him. Benny Harp the musician became a figure on the local scene in the early '80s, playing blues with volatile brothers Henry and Roy Perez in the Rhythm Kings. That baptism lasted five years, and Harp earned a reputation for flash and rowdiness. The Benny Harp Band, features bassist Jack Barber of the Sir Douglas Quintet,"Maddog" Rene Lopez on drums, "Dangerous Dan" Aaron on guitar, a former member of the band "Dangerous Toys", and San Antonio's best Greg Galindo on guitar.
